Serendou is the meeting of three musicians, initiated in 2006 on an idea of the Africolor festival. It was after several seasons of concerts, between France and Niger, that the trio recorded their first album. “Avel an douar” testifies of an exceptional human and artistic adventure. It’s a dialogue between 3 personalities rooted in their respective cultures, curious about otherness and difference. Although the music is neither African nor Breton, you can hear Africa and Brittany, as jazz and contemporary music in this album. Musicians draw on traditions and mix their cultures to offer unique sounds and new music that speaks to everyone across the world.
